Thanks for dropping by :)

I am now in the process of writing up my PhD, and will only be able to do very intermittent updates of this blog. Please explore the archives (below right) for our experiences in organic tropical gardening and, if you like, visit my other blog anthroblogia where I will be posting a bit more often.

Aakash - check the post http://tropical-gardening.blogspot.com/2009/12/organic-mealy-bug-repellent.html

Basically: I sprayed off the bugs first with water, then sprayed on the repellent. Some people recommend neem oil

Hi.
I'm trying to increase my knowledge of growing edible plants in Msia (Selangor). I know you are busy doing your PhD write up (often described as the worst part of the PhD!) but f you had the time one day and the passion, I'd appreciate it if you could write briefly on tips.

I'm from the UK and I must say the (small) knowedge of growing in the UK isn't very exportable here, conditions are so different.

Do you know of any other sites that address the home-scale cultivation of edible Fruit and Veg?
